Ammonium Thiocyanate
Ammonium thiocyanate is an inorganic substance with colorless crystals. Irritable, easily deliquescent, soluble in water and ethanol, soluble in methanol and acetone, almost insoluble in chloroform and ethyl acetate. Its aqueous solution turns blood red when exposed to iron salt solution, but has no reaction when exposed to ferrous salt.
