Sodium Pyrosulphite
Sodium metabisulfite, also known as sodium pyrosulfite, sodium disulfite, or sodium bisulfite, is an inorganic salt compound. It appears as white or slightly yellow crystalline powder or small crystals and has a strong odor of sulfur dioxide. It is soluble in water and glycerol, sparingly soluble in alcohol, and its solubility in water increases with rising temperature.
